German-Hungarian fashion and portrait photographer based in Paris.

AvM originally imagined his life as a biologist, but before finishing the university, he dropped out and went on with his passion - photography.

As his brother is also a photographer, he got himself surrounded by cameras at a relatively early age and started to shoot portraits and landscapes for his own joy. After one of his very first series was awarded, he finished an Art School and started to shoot tests for models and soon became a high valued young photographer among the agencies. AvM assisted later a few years in Hungary and London for various fashion photographers and started on his own soon after. He works now mainly in Europe and Asia for fashion brands, magazines and creates fine art images for art lovers.

AvM in LIP Magazine interview in 2009:

..."I love my models! I like to encourage every little game they do in front of the camera, if they feel free, then everything is easy and we can get images with filled with their personality and not only a puppet which is so usual nowadays in fashion. It should be and it is a game after all...

When I shoot, lighting and other technical things are indeed very important, but to me the moment has the top priority above all. The moment makes a great picture, everything else is just an extra feature"....
